Since the 1990’s, the scientists at Centrillion Technologies have been passionately focused on applying the latest advances in biology, chemistry, engineering, and physics to accelerate discovery for previously unapproachable applications. Inspired by industry visionaries such as Lubert Stryer, Steve Fodor, Francis Collins, Paul Berg, and many others, the team believes the next-generation of genomics is only just beginning!
After years of innovation and technology development at leading biotech manufacturers, we have first hand experience of the many benefits and limitations of existing hybridization and sequencing technologies. While we have made significant progress over the past decade, these current DNA technologies only truly support a small proportion of applications due to the many challenges with accuracy, speed and cost.
Centrillion was founded in 2009 to pick up where existing technologies leave off and continue the quest by providing innovative products and services that enable researchers to tackle more of life’s important issues. The team is developing genomics technologies that will enable researchers to manipulate, comprehensively characterize and analyze megabase and gigabase sized fragments of nucleic acids in their own laboratories.
Since moving to Palo Alto, Calif in 2013, Centrillion has established manufacturing facilities and doubled its laboratory space and workforce.
